This is the most unethical company on the internet. Although they scammed me for only $69.76, I am determined to exhaust all of my options to expose their fraudulent practices. They truly insult customer's intelligence with their false advertisements. What you see on their site is not what they will send you.
On April 19th, I went to their site and order 2 Lupine Woodfield Hybrids and Lupine Mini Gallery Red. It shows the picture of the plants and colorful flowers. At the end of the order, I never receive the status of my order. I then sent them two emails which they never replied to. On April 29th, I received a generic email that shipping time is "The Week Of May 3rd, 2021". Please keep in mind that this company is in Ohio, and I live in Georgia.
On May 11th, I received tiny dead plants, no flowers as shown on their site, the soil was parched ( they were not in a soil pot), and most of the plants had gray dead-looking stems.
With the two attempts to reach them before, I feel they are aware of their fraudulent practice, so not answering calls or emails. While the review link on their site is loaded with fake positive reviews, other external sites say otherwise. There are countless decent businesses available to the consumer. When it comes to Bluestone Perennials, buyer beware!
I am absolutely blown away by the plants I just received. I'm sure the postman will forever remember an old lady in her pajamas wondering where the other 7 boxes must be as I stared at one tiny box and a receipt for 8 plants costing $171.
I'm not sure I have enough years left to see these grow into the gorgeous pink cloud muhly plants I thought I was purchasing. It's a good thing you all are 740.3 miles from my front door or you would find these on your front porch Monday morning. As it is, it's not worth the time or money to stand masked in a socially distanced line at the post office to express them back... which I guess is what you count on.

My plant didn't look good, box was rattled alot ant the dirt came out of plants. ONE DOES LOOK LIKE IT WILL MAKE IT.
UPDATE: After posting the review I received an email from Bluestone providing me with a refund.
My azalea came in looking great just a little dry as expected. My clematis is totally dead, dry and after following their instructions in the packet it is still dry and dead. I e-mailed them a sent photos of when it arrived and a few days later. I have not heard back. I expect a refund but still waiting to hear from them.
Shipping took a very long time. Plants seem expensive for the size, and shipping was as much as the plant. Plants are shipped in coir pots which do NOT degrade and inhibit root growth, so I had tease plant out of coir to put in ground. You should use Cow Pots!
Have ordered plants from them for years. Always satisfied. This year part of my order was back ordered late and the rest came in deplorable condition. They sat on a loading dock over a weekend I called them the following day. The person on the phone immediately offer two solutions. Was very helpful. New plants ,at no charge are on the way
When I ordered four items early this spring only two of four were shipped.
I was very glad that you replaced my dead clematis; however, the FL department of Agriculture decided to inspect the package and my plant arrived on life support. It has been recuperating on my back lanai and should be ready for planting very soon. Thank you for asking.
I'm actually going to call tomorrow to inquire about the 100% satisfaction guarantee. I had a ~$130 order and what I received I wouldn't have paid $40 for had I seen the actual product.
One of the ornamental grasses that was $16 or so had 3 blades of grass, and the other was all brown. Almost all of the plants looked terrible when they came in (one astilbe was passable). I watered them and left them in a shady spot (as they're shade plants) and 2 days later they look even worse.
I bought an astilbe locally for a little more ($20) and it was about 5x bigger than what I received from bluestone, not to mention green instead of half dead. Being that I had to pay for shipping, I don't think that is a justifiable reason for such a huge difference.
I honestly feel that I was sent left overs from the retail location that weren't able to be sold.
One of the Sedum Brilliant plants was almost totally destroyed in shipping, it was in pieces. I know that they are very tender, but something around the top might have helped. Also one of the Solidago Peter Pan was broken.
Beautiful plants at a great price. Very big and healthy-much better value than what I can find locally. Bluestone offers a great selection and I couldn't be happier with my order.
Good morning, plants arrived alive, despite the fact the box looked as thou someone had sat on it. Kudos to your packing design. Thank you for allowing meto vent, and for the replacement hosta. Carol
Plant was extremely dry an half the dirt was out. I hope it lives.
